  • Loud fan and High Temp- -Don't recommend
    by: Boomer
I rarely, if ever, leave public comments, but this computer is a lemon. J&R is fantastic with the return, and I remain a loyal customer. This Sony product runs a very high temperature, and has a fan that runs very loud and incessantly (loud enough to...

  • Have always been a fan of Sony products

I love the speed and the screen quality. It is definitely much faster than my older Sony Vaio which has an i5 3rd generation processer. The picture quality and the much longer battery life is definitely a plus. I am very pleased with the very professio...

  • Great computer. Windows 8 is awful. Touchpad bad
    by: sef4356
Fantastic computer. Fast. Ultralight. Peripheral friendly. I have several macbook air computers and a number of fast gaming computers. This laptop is as good as any of them. However, the Windows 8 redesign is terrible. It is impossible to find things since the start button is gone. A download can cure this but then the touchscreen is not available. The touchpad cannot be permanently disabled - this makes typing just about impossible. It is necessary to disable the touchpad for each startup. why there is no feature to permanently disable the touchpad is a key design problem.

This is my fifth laptop, and the second VAIO, compared with the previous VAIO S67, this is a great improvement, and I loves its weight and display.
