  • Fantastic Mirrorless Camera
    by: Tom of Nevada
I really like this camera. It has too many advanced features to list them all here. The main thing I like about it is the real physical knobs on top for rapid selection of the most common adjustments. This is unlike other mirroless brands that have all those settings, but they are buried in the menu system making them harder to find.

  • Replaced my Nikon D800
    by: DWM
For my purpose, this has replaced my Nikon D800. I use my camera for portraiture, landscape and environmental photography. While the D800 is technically better, the X-T1 gets me 90% there with a fraction of the weight. The low-light performance is stellar! The control buttons and menu could be better, but it's not a deal-breaker. I fully expect Fuji to make this camera even better with coming firmware updates.

  • Fujifilm equals perfect color!
    by: Big Bad John
The X-T1 is a camera for creative photographic artist desiring outstanding image quality with perfect color results. I have worked professionally with Leica, Nikon, Canon, and Hasselblad. None of these photographic systems delivered color like the X-T1, unless I was shooting with Fuji Velvia 50. The last 15 years of my freelance career Velvia 50 replaced Kodak K-25. I sold a new Nikon D-7100 + 3 top end Nikkor zooms, a Sony R-X1 + Sony RX-100, just to return to the Velvia 50 look with the X-T1. I also reduced my system weight by 50% + even with 5 Fuji XF lenses + the X-E2. Dr. John Sims

  • It's all been said. It's awesome.

This is a great camera. Is it perfect or groundbreaking? No, but it's everything you've read. If you're an experienced photographer who cares not only about the quality of your photos but usability of your camera, this is the camera for you. My primary camera is(or was) a Canon 5d3. Great images but I'm tired of lugging it around. The Fuji is light with great image quality. This is a portrait and landscape camera, not really for sports.

  • It has made me a better photographer
    by: Prof
I cut my teeth on a Nikon D300. Learning composition, exposure, etc. I was ready to move on when I heard about the X-T1. The simple fact is that it has made me take better pictures because I am in complete control over what my image will look like from the very beginning. The EVF makes this possible by showing you exactly what your image will look like before you snap the shutter. Never again will you waste a shot by fiddling with the exposure triangle. When you raise or lower a setting the results are shown immediately, before you press the shutter. All the other perks you have read about are there and are as advertised. No need to retread that ground. My pictures are better looking and I feel more connected to them because I have complete control. The reason is the X-T1. Just make sure you get a spare battery.
