I use this camera for indoor photography and night photography also Landscape. When using VC or VR lenses ISO 400 or 800 works very good at night hand held. I have had three Nikon APS-C DSLR cameras and now that I have went to full frame I could never go back.

  • AMAZING (Unboxing video at bottom)

I had been researching (obsessing according to my lovely wife) my upgrade path for months, reading reviews and comparing models. I even considered the Canon 5d MK3 ,which is a great option but I still feel that Canon is a bit behind in some areas. In the end I came back to the camera that seemed to be made just for me. A full frame, super fast, low light master of photo and video capture, the Nikon D610. Here's my unboxing video for the cam: http://youtu.be/0ezctHpSHNA

  • Excellent Image Quality
    by: Jerry
The D610 is capable of delivering stunning image quality, especially in terms of color, depth of field, and detail. While I prefer the ergonomics of the D700 & D800 series, the image quality and price of this camera combine to overcome any ergonomics shortfalls (a battery grip will help if you have larger hands). It's true there are similarities with the D7000, but the Fx imagery surpasses that of the Dx when it comes to creating depth in your image. For that reason alone it is worth your consideration if you are a Dx shooter thinking about Fx. But wait, there's more - more high ISO performance. I can safely push this camera to ISO 5000, whereas my D7000 topped out at 3200 (both needing a little noise removal at those ISOs).

  • Excellent camera

I am an amateur photographer who has been taking photographs for the last 57 years. This is my fourth Nikon camera (starting with the Nikon 2F in 1976). The Nikon D610 digital SLR camera is the best and most complex camera I have ever handled. It is a complicated computer that can do amazing things. I am learning how to use all its functions and I am having a lot of fun doing so. The only thing I do not like is its weight (it is heavy), especially if you are using a good lens with it.
