  • Low Light Champ!!!
    by: THSprophoto
Man!!! I got this camera for it's low light capability! I shoot events, and in most cases, the light is not ideal. I shot a three day conference with the only light in the place was on the speakers! I used this camera in WiFi mode on a tripod. I fired the shutter using the EOS IOS App!!! I was able to shoot from other locations, while capturing shots with the 6d unattended. Guys, it out performed the 5d II. (They roughly cost the same) I was shooting between ISO 2000-5000 on both the whole time. The image quality is stellar. The 5d did hang in there in some situations, but the 6d produced cleaner images. It delivered! Negative - * Minus the sync speed This camera is not my main body, so thats not an issue, But it is. I'm not sure what Canon was thinking. *Auto Focus, By far my biggest pet peeve!! lets say, you want to cycle through the auto focus points. I know you can use the directional pad, butI i prefer to roll the wheel until it hits that one I want. If you scroll using the wheel, it only stays on the row you set it to. (There are three rows. 3 up top 5 in the middle and 3 on the bottom.) * The Physical size It's smaller that the 5d, but in this case good things come in small packages. I have large hands, (It's hard to find good gloves). Overall, I love this camera. Well worth the money. I guess you could go bigger and better, (MK III) but I don't see the point. I mean, in many cases, my MKII is still performing. My customers love their pictures, and at the end of the day, thats all that matters.

  • Great Camera
    by: jcflewby
This is a great full frame camera with excellent high ISO capabilities. Would like a little better focusing speed and shooting rate. Perfect wedding camera if you don't want to spend the 2x$$$ for a 5D3!

  • Superb camera for the money.

Used it for a wedding a week after purchase and it performed as expected. ISO can be dialed up with little sacrifice, hardly used the external flash, paired the camera with 24-70 2.8 Canon lens and was quite happy.

  • Loving every minute!

I had a Canon 40D for 6 years and this was this best thing I have purchased in years. The picture quality is amazing. Features are good. Can't wait for a better App from Canon for the WiFi use. I wont use the GPS either but it feels good in the hand. Definitely recommend.
